Community Tree & Wildflower Planting | Greenwood Conservation Area

Join us and the Town of Ajax for a morning of native tree and wildflower planting at Greenwood Conservation Area as we welcome the fall! Participants the join will have the opportunity to take home some native wildflower seeds to save and add to their own gardens next spring.

High school students who participate will gain community service hours.

The event will run rain or shine but will be cancelled if there is extreme weather. Registrants will be emailed two hours prior to the event if there is a cancellation.

What to wear: Long pants, closed-toed shoes, tall socks, hat, and sunscreen.

What to bring: Rain protection, bug spray, reusable water bottle and snacks. Gardening gloves and water refills will be available on site.
